Yep, anything goes. I've purged my Facebook feed so much that I could easily delete my acct now.

Wife and I have the same Facebook acct, but I'm the only one that checks the feeds. If one of my Facebook "friends" start using vulgar language ("f" word or other), I will stop their feed. Facebook changed it so people don't have to "unfriend" someone, just stop the feed. I've had two people I've had to do this on, one being our great-niece. I brought her feed back, because she has stopped the language (think the Army talked to her).

Since, besides phone calls, Facebook is the other way my SIL (wife's sister) communicates with us, so can't delete the acct. She puts photos on FB that we wouldn't get if not on FB.

Yes, I've chosen to not see things by certain people but I still remain friends with them. And it's not all because
I disagree with their post or its offensive, sometimes it's just that they share everything on FB and I have to scroll forever to get past their posts.

I used to just look for photos of family but they are getting tired of FB also, so not too much for me to really see anymore. I'll keep it for awhile because sometimes it makes signing up somewhere easier
And I'd rather just click on sign in through Facebook then register. But even that isn't really important.

Will decide in the new year if I keep it or not.

I stayed away from face book it started as just a gut feeling and now I can see that you open yourself up to the whole world. Any criminal who wants to rob you can see everything in your house through photos you have placed on face book. Also if a face book friend of yours got in trouble don’t be surprised if the police are not knocking at your door. People have a attendance of giving out lots of information thinking it is private well think again.

You can set your acct to be pretty private if you want...I'm not worried about my privacy because I never post pics anyway. I also don't have the type of friends who would get in trouble. Most of mine now are family and extended family. A few friends in Hungary, Romania and Germany and that's it.

    Oh, forgot a few Canadians.
