With Trump wanting to talk with what the media calls our enemies and has good relationships with them. He might just cause their worst fears world peace.
What has it been up to now is we do not want to talk to you and if you don’t do what I say we will put on more sanctions. The first line to understanding is communication and until now this was not happening. I had to laugh I saved postage stamps in the 50s 60s and the Scott’s catalogue the major world catalogue did not have China in it because the U.S. did not recognize it. How can you not recognize a few billion people? That is just how ridicules things can get.
I know that there are times we have to back off, not step on toes, it's always going to happen, but we can try. Trump is someone I respect because I just doesn't seem to worry a lot about stepping on toes, and for me personally, I wanted someone that spoke their mind, as much as they could anyway. You speak your mind too much and you go to the looney bin because a lot of the world thinks right is wrong, and visa versa. Anyway, I don't know how you guys feel about your Nigel Farange, but I love that guy! To me he is a lot like Trump, and I just can't listen to anymore political correctness, which is just words that really mean, to me, hide the truth. I do understand that in some cases, it's good not to blurt out the truth unless you are able to do it tactfully. Thing is, there is always someone out there that isn't going to "agree" it is tactful to speak the truth in any manner.
I don't think we'll ever have world-peace. I do think that there are much better ways to work together, or not work together. Take care of our country, and not become a 3rd world country in the name of helping others. When we are strong, we can help. When we are weak, we are in danger of those that want to "rule" the world with an iron fist taking over the US. No more weeners in government. We have to be strong again, and for that we need strong leaders, and "we" need to be strong and active as we can be. I don't know how many voted this time, but my bet is there was a bigger turnout than we've seen in year!!
I agree with 'most' of what you say Denise - sometimes a little thought before you speak can reap better rewards though, especially when dealing with world leaders Even Nigel has slipped up a couple of times, but mainly he's a brilliant speaker @Denise Happyfeet
right on @Patsy Faye I think we'd be a boring bunch if we agreed on everything But it's nice to be able to disagree without attacking the "person". It's a real, hard-learned skill but I work at it Brilliant, and fearless, but not perfect, I like that
