I wouldn't worry @Cody Fousnaugh. We all offend somebody at some time on a forum. I think if we come from different countries our written word can be misunderstood. No nuance in the written word. Forget about it and be true to yourself.
As for myself, I get terribly offended when I understand what I am saying but others do not. Or, maybe I just get offended when they understand what I am saying and choose not to respond the way I expect them to. Or, maybe I'm not so much offended as confused because I do not understand what I just said and others know exactly what I said. Actually, I do not get offended nor confused because being perplexed takes up all of the essential time I would need to be offended or confused. Yeah, maybe that's it, .............or not.
It's everybody else because I am always right............except when I'm not which couldn't be more than 50% of the time except when it's less ...........or more.........sometimes.
@Bobby Cole Your "double speak" is commendable! Were it fact that I knew you were not above becoming a political candidate, I would recommend you for Congress! Though, my recommendations have always been ignored, by those in high and lofty places.
@Bobby Cole "It's everybody else because I am always right" And I thought I was wrong, once, but I was mistaken........ Frank
Ah, but there is nothing inherently wrong with being mistaken unless it is truly wrong as opposed to being right. It's just when a mistake was mistook for an ideal proposition but in a final philosophical approach, a realization that idealism is impossible at best which in the state of the proposition's finality we find that it was really just a dern mistake and nothing more. Now tell me, who on earth could be offended by that?
I do not believe that your recommendations have been ignored by those in high and lofty places rather than they have been ignored for so long they no longer know when they are really being spoken to.
I actually believe that it's the other way around for hyperbolic would define the hyperbole but then, the whole matter could be highly exaggerated. Which one is more offensive? And, was anyone really offended? "The lady tooted soooo loud it could be heard on the other side of the city." The lady who tooted or the people who had an odiferous experience on the other side of town? Guru's high atop grand mountains have pondered about such things for a millennia.
@Bobby Cole "Guru's high atop grand mountains have pondered about such things for a millennia." Who pays their Salary?
They grow their own celery. Oh, SALARY! Sorry, I'm a little hard of hearing. Dunno....maybe the Kardasians.
@Bobby Cole That "K" -word I don't care to go into, and no, I have not seen her infamous video, which I heard about somewhere. Seems maggots found in the trash sometimes become butterflies..... Frank
