@Chrissy Cross Now this one definitely caught my attention! Not gay at all, but always curious about "otherly interests", I have seen the term "boys" used rather extensively on the Net, and wonder what the Internet definition of "boys" is? In my day, it was boys. SEX BOYS. Oh, Boy! Frank
Oh ditto Tim! I love Overdrive, and just recently got the new version working on my Nook. I get almost all my books from library2go Never without a book!! When this Nook wears out I do want to try a Kindle next time. I hear such great things about them.
Probably my fave App is called Chroma Doze. I think it's saved my sanity. I have tinnitus and needed to have some white-noise at night especially. It's an app that makes a fan sound, but it also sounds a bit like rain. Anyway, it adjusts easily, at uses very, little power. It can go all night, and still have like 90 or more % of the battery left. This is on my Moto E phone btw. I don't really get much into apps on my laptop. But as I mentioned to @Tim Burr I do love my Overdrive App on my laptop, phone, and Nook Tablet. It works with my library2go to check out, and download books to my Nook (or my phone & laptop).
I have only added a couple of apps on my iPhone. I have more than a hundred apps on my computer, but I don't use most of them, and have never used some of them. I will buy and download an app sometimes, thinking that it will be helpful, then I forget about it and later can't recognize it by the name.
LOL, sounds like a lot of the programs I downloaded on my old hard-drive. Used or tried them once, then didn't uninstall them. Then I'm cleaning things up saying "what the hell is this??", lol
I'm trying to keep my new iPad as uncluttered as possible and have only downloaded the important ones so far.
I used to use my Solitaire app daily, even twice daily, but sometimes now I substitute that with Magic Puzzles or Perk Pop Quiz. I can get lost in Perk Pop Quiz if I pick the right category.
This one isn't an app, just a website, but I really like it at times: http://thejigsawpuzzles.com/ What I like most is it's free, then also, they have 1000s of puzzles to put together, and tons of catagories. You can also pick your "cut" style, and how many pieces you want. And the coolest feature is taking any picture you have, and making it into a puzzle. For example, I love Hidden Object Games, so I do a google for a game, copy the pic, and make a puzzle from it. Here's one from the best artwork games I love:
Haha, sex bots are robots that entice unsuspecting (or aware) people looking to interact in transactions of a sexual nature, draw them to webcams, etc., that viewers usually pay to watch, for phone sex, etc.
I have a new app that I put on my iPhone that I really like, and think that some of the rest of the forum might like this one, too. It is called " Cardiio" and it will check your pulse almost instantly. Because mine was fluctuating constantly with the irregular heartbeats, I wanted something to check my heart rate when I was not at home and didn't have my blood pressure cuff right there to tell me what my BP and heart rate were. This neat little app works by using the camera and flashlight from the iPhone and scans the blood running through your fingertip. Remember when we were kids, and we held the flashlight up to our fingers and it made the light turn pink ? This is the same basic idea. When you put your finger over the camera and the light from the flash, the app can read your heart rate. It takes about 30 seconds for it to calculate the heart rate, and is pretty cool to watch it work. I do not know if they have this app for Android or not; but here is the link to the Apple Store apps. Cardiio - Heart Rate Monitor + 7 Minute Workout by Cardiio, Inc. https://appsto.re/us/Q29wG.i Edit: We must have been on the same wavelength , @Chrissy Cross ! this is an old thread and we both posted in it at the same time.
@Yvonne Smith , did you try the cardio? Jumping jacks? YIKES, can you change the program? Since I don't wear a bra, I'd have to hold my boobs if I'm doing a jumping jack and then it's not a jumping jack. After jumping jacks it's wall sit, then push ups, then ab crunches (can do) and I haven't looked further but I wish I could set it to settings for someone with back issues.
