Just for fun, let's ask a question and see what answers we get, so no googling Question - why do bathroom cleaners 'only' kill 99.9 per cent of germs ?
We have germs all over our bodies; so when we are in there cleaning, we are also spreading more new germs, so there is no way to get rid of all of them.
Its a horrible thought, but it pops into me head every so often as to why I've never seen a dead birdie on the roads (unless they've been hit) or in the parks ........... I guess foxes etc pick them up, but there are so many birdies and not many foxes around here
Okay, here's the answer to that then. The reason you don't see the dead birds on the road is because they are usually stuck in your car's grill work or they bounced off the roof of your car and landed on the side of the road.
Try putting a bird feeder on your car....I bet you will see a lot more birds on the road then Patsy. But the Bird Police will be chasing you down too so watch out.
You see plenty pheasant and partridges dead on my lane Patsy. I live in the rural shires next to some very large woodland which I drive through to get to work, and the pheasants and partridges ...as well as zillions of rabbits, squirrels , foxes and muntjac wander around... I regularly see badgers as road kill. Some of the birds fly into windscreens and get caught up in the wipers..(I've had that happen before it's scary).....most just wander out in the road and get run over ...(gawdsakes pheasants and partridges are sooo stooopid).....and some just die of natural causes. Also we have a large bird population that visits our garden because we have lots of mature trees and we have bird feeders and nesting boxes out there, so every now and again we'll go out and there'll be a dead pigeon or blackbird on the lawn..
