I get such a kick out of Trump, he is so wanting to get to work, almost like he can't hardly get through this part, he has so much motivation, energy, and ambition, yesssssssssssss!! His determination makes me want to succeed too, at whatever I can do, and will do. I loved the line about patriotism replaces prejudice, woohoo!!
I want to listen to it again, because he said some amazing things, and so true. And I had heard them before, great speech, so moving. I was thinking that those who don't "join up" will be "left behind".
Those that continue with their hate, and resentment will only hurt themselves. Hate, resentment, jealousy only hurts those who carry it. It's been said over and over, but one more time, those against Trump need to be done with licking their wounds, and join America and get with the program. Donald J. I loved how He gave God the glory for being our Creator and acknowledged that He would be our help in making America great again! I think today we not only got a new President...but renewed Hope for the future!
One of our state representatives, who is at the inauguration, was on local radio a moment ago. He said that he has been all over D.C. and there aren't very many protesters. He said that the media is finding small pockets of protesters wherever they can and magnifying them in their reports. I have been listening to it on the radio, and not watching television news, but he said that the news reports show close-ups of small groups of protesters, making it appear that they are cropped photos of large crowds that just aren't there.
Scott Pelley on CBS was just trying to stir up some trouble with bringing up that there was some trouble with broken windows, etc in protest....I picked up my remote and turned to ABC! My husband said that during the election Scott Pelley made him so mad trying to stir up trouble for Trump that he refuses to watch him anchor the News anymore!
I'm glad he did that as well. I see a better future for America now. Trump is a doer, I have faith in what he wants to achieve. He's bold about it, but says "we" will achieve it together. I can't say enough about the whole inauguration, it was a blessing to get to see it happen
I loved the prayers. The opening and closing readings and prayers held real meaning and hope, as they were said out loud, to the World!
Funny you mention that @Babs Hunt Someone mentioned while speaking, about our "fractured press" loved that and I hope we can eliminate that sort of press, at least on our televisions. WE CAN start by not watching such news channels. Good for your husband. I do think it's interesting obama's and bidens are headed for California, pretty sure it said they were

I knew it!! I knew the turnout FOR Trump would so out-weigh any protests Wooooooooohoo, thank you Ken! After I finally eat some brekkie(but I'm recording all that I miss running to the kitchen) I can't wait to really talk about the whole deal. And, my most moving moment I got tears of joy! I am amazed at what's happened to me, instead of wanting to do cartwheels when I saw the obama's leaving, I was indifferent, like they are "past" and I am so focused on the new. I don't feel any animosity anymore, it's like any "hate" I supposedly did feel is gone. I just am so "more that just" happy, because that is fleeting, but Hope, I feel soooooooo much hope for America. God bless America, and all those that have worked so hard, all those that voted, and mostly, again, thank You God.
