The topic question was: "Is it possible to be Christian and pro-choice at the same time?"

Regardless of what anyone else has said to the contrary...the answer is a resounding "No, it is not!" Christians understand what is right and what is wrong from what God has to say about this in the Bible and God's Word says murder is wrong. Abortion is the murdering of an unborn child and for a Christian woman to murder her child would be going against what God has told her is wrong. For a Christian woman to believe it is alright to do this would also be going against God's Truth and would be disobedience.

God's Word also says that all of us (Christians and non-Christians) know His Truth for it is written in our hearts...His Word also says that although all of us know it...many choose to do what they want anyway. That is the way of the World...but for a Christian it cannot be their way.

I think 'anyone' with common sense understands what is right from wrong

Plenty of Christians have committed murder over time Babs
It all comes down to common sense and morals in the end

For me as a Christian it all comes down to what my Creator and Father God says Patsy. I'm sorry if you can't understand that. But God's Truth about right and wrong is the beginning and end for me as a Christian. That's how it is and how it will always be.

If you are trying to get people turned off to be a Christian, @Babs Hunt, it's working.

Like I said before, according to you I'm not a Christian, and I guess I'm not.

What I believe works for me just like what you believe works for you.

If you are turned off by me speaking God's Truth as His child and a Christian...then that's your problem Chrissy, not mine. And I'm not the one calling you anything, you have done that.

I am going to speak God's Truth because I am His daughter and His Truth is my Truth. None of you have to agree with me but I'm not going to just let y'all try to twist that Truth to suit what y'all want it to be either.

As good people Babs, it irks a bit to be told we're otherwise if we don't follow the Bible to the letter
    Which is absolute nonsense

You can speak all you want about your truth, Babs. I don't have to twist my truth either because it's what I believe.

I don't have a problem, @Babs Hunt with what you want to post....just didn't understand where you where going.

Do you want only people that agree with you to reply? Then I won't be replying anymore. Everybody believes their own truth to be true so it's really pointless to argue.

Also, you did call me non Christian since I don't believe exactly as you do.

It appears that you started this topic for discussion, @Babs Hunt , and now are telling everyone who has given their opinion about this topic that because we don't look at something exactly the same way as YOU see it, then we are wrong for even voicing an opinion. If you didn't want people to be able to discuss the topic, why on earth did you start the thread ?
It is up to God to speak to a person's heart and show them whether something is right or wrong for them to be doing, and the Bible tells us that God's word is written in our hearts. Your telling people here (wonderful, kind and caring people) that they are wrong, or even that they are not Christians, because they gave an opinion, is only going to drive people away from ever wanting to become a Christian.
You should be able to see this from the responses that you get every time you do this in one of your religious threads. It is no discussion at all when someone opens a thread just to say that no other opinions are allowed. We all have opinions, and when a thread asks a question, any answer is as acceptable to that thread as any other.
We have NO right to walk over someone else's feelings just because we hold a different opinion that someone else in the forum believes. As a Christian, we should not even be wanting to push other people away from believing in God, we should be showing that love that God shows us, to other people regardless of their belief.
It is accepting Jesus/God into our hearts that changes us inside, and makes us a true Christian. Like you always say, it is "relationship" that is what is important. Berating a person for their beliefs has never saved anyone.

Well said, @Yvonne Smith and this is the right way to attract people to Christianity in my opinion.

Discuss away! :) I've said what I wanted to say and honestly the only thing that matters to me is standing up for God's Truth on the matter of abortion. I really don't care if you like how I speak His Truth or not because frankly no matter how I spoke it....those that don't want to hear it...are going to have a problem with it any way it is said.

There's another truth here....and it's the fact that many of you just don't even want God's name or His Truth spoken here but as a Christian when I have something to say....I have just as much right to say it as y'all do, whether y'all like the way I say it or not.

Babs, I honestly don't care what you believe and I don't want to change what you believe either...post all you want but I just don't understand if you want replies that are different then yours.

Maybe when you make a post like this, also add...don't reply if you believe differently.

It is one thing to express one's views, opinions, or beliefs about Christianity (or any other subject); but it is another thing entirely to berate and insult the other people on the forum for also expressing their beliefs and thoughts.
To tell another person that they are going to hell is not our business, only God makes that decision. His command to us was to love other people, and that is (to my mind) what is important.
Jesus rescued the lost sheep, he didn't push it off the cliff......

No one here has objected to your saying what you want to say, @Babs Hunt . Say what you want to say; but do not bash other people for what they say. Personal attacks are not the right way to do this.
