@Shirley Martin Ha! In the case of a Like-Gender marriage of two women, are they both considered "Wives"?
@Frank Sanoica , I don't know any lesbian couples but I do know several gay couples. I haven't been bold enough to ask if one was the wife but, just from observing them, I would say they treated each other as equals. Why is it that every time I fill the gas tank on my car, the price of gas goes down the next day? Then when it's time to refill, the price of gas goes up the day before?
That's true, happens to me with clothes, I buy something then next day they've put the price down Turns me face from this to this @Shirley Martin
My daughter will ask for a price adjustment if that's the case, even if it's been 2 weeks. She always gets it also.
I admit I cheat. I've been friends with my neighborhood mom and pop grocery store owners since 1990. The wife will call me and tell me when they plan on lowering the price of their gas. She said they don't make much money on gas, but by being just a bit lower in price than the big chains, they get more customers buying food products. I seldom buy more than a tank a month now days. Without spending money, what is the perfect gift for you?
@Shirley Martin This series of events: "On an episode called "Same-Sex Secret Crushes" taped on March 6, 1995, a gay man named Scott Amedure confessed his love for an acquaintance, Jonathan Schmitz. While on the show, Schmitz reacted with laughter. Three days after the show's taping, Schmitz killed Amedure. He was later convicted of second degree murder and received a sentence of 25–50 years in prison." I remember well. I saw that episode of the show as it unfolded. There was more to it than history reveals, of course. In truth, Amedure, sitting right next to Schmitz, made a series of physical moves, and hinted at intimacy. Schmitz stated, after realizing what was going on, that he had been "set-up", having had no idea what was going to be done to him, that he was a straight heterosexual, as he squirmed away from Amedure. The following action against Amedure, killing him, revealed just how deeply Schmitz had been publicly humiliated. I formed the belief that Schmitz was a bit "slow" while watching the show, but he nonetheless understood the implications. That may explain the relatively light sentence. I felt the show, as well as Jenny Jones, were to be despised for airing such a scheme. It showed how deeply the feeling against gays can go. Frank
The things made for me by my grandsons over the years. I treasure those more than anything. I also still have some homemade things from my kids.
