I do whole heartedly agree with you @Joe Riley but to tell the truth, until this thread I have never put much thought into it. When I lived in Mexico as well as here in the good old U.S.A., and I go to the classiest Mexican restaurant or the dives, the word Hombres almost invariably appears on the men's restroom door and Mujeres on the women's door. I doubt if the restaurant owner wishes to insult anyone so...... Hmmm......perhaps it is not a tradion to be particularly friendly in Los Banos to use Amigo and Amiga.
@Ken Anderson IMO, establishment of a Federal police force which intercedes in local law ernforcerment jurisdictional rights is a much to be feared precedent, which absolutely over-rides States Rights. My two-cents. Frank
