Do we really need them - heard good reasons as to why we don't and I think
hard gums would do just as well
When me wisdom teeth came through, it was excruciating and I realised what little
    babies go through
But, that's not the end of the pain is it - they will always bring us pain so we go to
    the dentist - more pain
If we didn't have teeth, we would have more soup in our diet, which would allow us
to have more chocolate and ice cream, as we would be slim, living mainly on soup

So, you see the advantages - what do ya think then ................?

But patsy, there are such necessary things as steak, pork chops, pizza, etc. where teeth are important. I still have all of mine ( one of them isn't real) fortunately. I hope I never have to limit my diet for any reason. I like food.:D

Ah but Sheldon, if we'd been created without teeth, then we wouldn't know what we are missing :p

Yep and then people wonder why the forum died...I think if we didn't have "likes" people would reply more ...just my opinion.

As for teeth...we need them so you can go the dentist and make my kids career choice worthwhile! :)

I've always thought that - at least they'd have to 'say' - 'like' :p

Somehow drinking a steak or pizza in a smoothie just wouldn't be the same as eating that steak or pizza @Patsy Faye. ;)

My Honey has top dentures and there are some things he misses eating like nuts. I put some in the mini food processor and chop up fine and add to things for him, but he says that isn't the same. He manages to enjoy most foods though and I can't see him wanting to drink those same foods.

I have to have some of my teeth pulled and if I live long enough will probably have a partial plate or dentures where my bottom teeth are now. I'm not looking forward to that day coming or the price tag of it.

And while babies may be cute as can be when they smile without teeth....it isn't so cute in adults. :)

And look at all the problems you and your Honey have experienced all 'cos of teeth
No, we should have been born with rock hard gums

I'd rather have the problems with my teeth than without them @Patsy Faye, but if I live long enough I probably will know both sides of this story. :p

I think we should have been able to regrow our teeth just like when we lost the baby ones but instead of stopping at adult teeth...keep re growing them...now that would be great! Not good for my kids but if that were the case they would have chosen different careers anyway.

For all denture wearers, my kids say that the bottom ones are the worst, most people have trouble with those...so do all you can to save the bottoms.

I don't think the Forum has died @Chrissy Cross it's pretty quiet right now but maybe that's a good thing because there is so much "noise" in the world right now.

Yep - I've considered this, but - the pain of them growing again !
I think we're made wrong - should have given us more thought.
Why not teeth that never have problems !
In ye olden days, false teeth were made of wood !! Ugh - all them splinters

Even if you do everything you can, everyone's teeth are different a
That would be really nice Chrissy and it makes sense too. As our hair and nails keep growing over and over again, etc. so it would be nice if our teeth did that too! :D

Unfortunately, we can't tell our teeth which ones we want to lose no matter how well we take care of them.

I didn't say it died, I said forums die and then people are surprised. What does the noise in the outside world have to do with a quiet forum?

Most forums are more active when things are going on in politics...
