Just to let you know, in case you read it wrong........the movie title was Rodeo and Juliet. It's a rodeo romance movie. The guy's nickname is "Rodeo".
I have stayed away from romantic movies since my husband died. At first it was because it was too painful, now they just don't interest me. Same goes for romantic novels and love songs.
You are right Cody, I evidently did read it wrong. And since I know you like rodeo and love your "Juliet" I can see how you would pick that as your "Love" movie. I hope it turns out to be a really good movie!
"Touching 1954 recording of Johnny Cash professing his love to then-future wife, Vivian. Johnny recorded this audio letter on acetate record while stationed in Germany in the U.S. Air Force (before his music career) and mailed it to Vivian as a cherished Valentine's Day present". "This video was made possible by Dick Distin - Vivian's loving second husband - who steadfastly supported Vivian during her search for healing, and the writing of her memoir, "I Walked the Line: My Life with Johnny" (published September 2007 by Scribner/Simon & Schuster)".
Probably not, I'd have to sit here and really think about that. We were very different in every way, likes and dislikes etc. He was the last person I would choose for a husband, lol but I loved him more than anything...if there are soulmates, he was mine. I'll never find another who knew me as well as he did...just one of those things.
I just thought of one, it was the movie we saw together when he proposed. The Adventurers I think was the name of it and I really can't even remember what it's about but for some reason that was our movie.
The movie was released in march of 1970 and he proposed to me on my birthday, April 18th, 1970...we married in July of that year. I was 19 and he was 34! We were married 34 years before he died. And now I'm crying.
Me too Babs but I was ready to go out to the store, now I'll have to wait a bit because my eyes are red....but it's a good cry. Right now I'm remembering that I got pregnant pretty quickly and thankfully it was all legit. We married July 25, 1970 and my daughter was born May 15, 1971!
I have to admit, when I was single (ok, divorced) and a lady broke up with me (most likely because I wanted to be in a relationship/get married again so bad), I wouldn't listen to "love" songs or watch a "love/romantic" movie for weeks.
