Why are men's slippers so heavy, more like shoes they are Do the men here wear slippers ? I bought Fabs flip flop ones (no back) nice and light and he likes them As for us girls, slippers over here have a grid pattern on the sole that is very rough and not at all good for my vinyl floor in the kitchen, leaves marks You will probably say, well its to stop you slipping about, but I say I wouldn't slip on carpet and vinyl. I would also say to them, tone it down and don't be so ridiculous, I'm not treading snow for goodness sake That's todays rant over with, anything bothering you that you'd like changed ..................?
Seems everything slowly raises a few bucks, don't even know why. You start out at a certain amount and after awhile it's higher and nothing has changed. My ADT is like that, so is Geico.
I am pretty sure that men wear slippers. I have had some on occasion, although I usually wear flip-flops or clogs where slippers might otherwise be indicated.
I wear flip flops in the summer but in the winter I wear very warm slippers because I usually don't have my heat turned on.
I started wearing slip-on slippers a few years ago. I wear them quite often (AM & PM). I can wear them so much, the bottoms wear out. This last Black Friday, we got me two pairs from Penny's. As far as some things going up in cost yearly, we've seen it happen to some of our bills. Our rent gets raised each year by $20, but would rather have rent increases than pay a yearly property tax and pay for things to be repaired or replaced.
True about the cost of houses...they're money pits. True that my daughter helps me a lot with that but my house is only 17 years old and the repairs are endless. My last repair was my garbage disposal...plumber quoted me $600 to replace it...everyone said that was robbery so I looked for a handyman and he did it for $50 plus the cost of the disposal which was $100! So total of $150! But even with a handyman, I still have so many things that are going wrong and need updated etc.
Although I can't change this but something that really bothers me is when I make a typo and it's so bad that I can't even figure out what I wanted to type in the first place.
I wear slippers all the time when at home, some 5 years ago when I had a joint 70th birthday celebration with my brother-in-law we both forgot to change into shoes, so ended up at the restaurant in slippers, .......I have even been known to go to the local Tesco supermarket wearing them........ here in Lisa's apartment where it is like being in the tropics, I go around bare footed in a tee shirt.... like @Cody Fousnaugh the bottoms do wear out pretty regularly..... a few years ago I bought a pair of Greek traditional woollen slippers with a suede sole, which are very warm, and never seem to wear out.........
That's what I want - suede soles, very kind to vinyl don't ya know But, can I find them - no Google is useless at times
