In the event that I feel like posting pictures of our house, with no apparent purpose, I will do it here. Here are a few photos of my cluttered office. Believe it or not, I just straightened it out a couple of days ago.
Looked better in the second picture although I feel you'd have to watch yer step - you need some more man drawers
@Ken Anderson as a neat nik I could not work in that "messy" office but I know you probably have everything placed exactly where you need it in your office. Also I like my desk by the window so I can look outside now and then and watch the birds at the feeder and in the bird bath as well as Mr. Squirrel coming to eat and play with everybody else too. I would definitely have to stay out of your office if I were to be cleaning in your home...because you would probably not be able to find anything if I "cleaned" your office.
That's it isn't it - Ken probably knows where everything is ! Wish I has a window like yours Babs @Babs Hunt
I couldn't live in your world, Ken. I have issues with everything has to be out of sight. My ex had a messy office and although I was crying when he left, the first thing I did was clean out his office.
I'll share mine with you @Patsy Faye...although with the sun coming up when I took this a little while ago you can't see much of the beautiful view I see from my window.
Here is the rest of the room, although I'm not sure if I should post another pic in @Ken Anderson personal address post....last one, I promise and he can delete them if he wants. I use baskets and boxes to keep things out of sight...actually what's in my footrest in this picture are my vacuum cleaner attachments...I always lose those so I keep them where I can find them. The basket type box with the plant on it holds all of Pickle's toys and gear. My deep dark secret is that all my closets are full and a mess. I have clothes in my walk in closet in my bedroom (total mess) also have overflow in the 3 other bedroom closets. Shhh!
I have had the desk by the window. The problem with that is that, when you have cats, you learn that cats like to have their desks by the window too, and they are constantly on the desk, knocking stuff over and sitting on the keyboard.
Pickles is cat like and he likes to sit on that green sofa by the window in my office but only if I pull up the blinds but I don't because then he sits there barking at every little thing...especially "Cat" who comes by to annoy him knowing he's behind a window...boy, he gets so angry when Cat is there...I can tell just by his bark that's she's under the window taunting Pickles. Actually, I'm afraid of cat too....was out once walking and turned around and this cat with the tallest legs I've ever seen was behind me... I think it also "sprays" my garage door because I've noticed yellow spots on it and can't figure out what it is...looks like pee.
I will not embarrass myself by posting a pic of my computer/office/sewing room. Ken has embarrassed himself enough for both of us by posting his pic
