After a few hours it's still stuck in my mind, at least a portion of it. I was looking out a glass patio door and 2 cheetahs were fighting, one got hurt because I saw blood on the glass. From there it seems I was in bed with the two cheetahs and an orange tabby cat that could have been my "Peaches" who died 16 years ago. I just lay there thinking I better not move or the cheetahs will attack and it seems we all lay there very still for awhile (I had a scared feeling) then I noticed one of the cheetahs tail's started to twitch and move kind of like before a cat attacks and I thought "oh oh"..then I woke up. Just want to add that the room and bed I was in were not familiar to me and I really didn't see the whole room just a feeling of being in a bed with white sheets. It was a pretty big bed, a king for sure. I also wasn't sure if the cheetahs were ready to attack me or the cat but was worried about both of us. My other dream involved Josh Duggar of the Duggar family, lol. My dreams have been weird lately and there isn't a change in meds or anything...
I've had dreams, but luckily not the last few years, where I've been shot or stabbed. Somehow I woke myself up and realized it was just a dream. Believe it or not, I use to have dreams that I was Superman. I could jump into the air and fly. Arms and legs stretched out, just like Superman.
I always wake up before any harm comes to me...thank goodness. I have had flying dreams also...not so much like Superman but I could lift myself off the ground slightly..never flying really high but flying.
I don't recall my dreams now, unless one wakes me up My perfect dream would be cuddling up to a Cheetah, adore them But, I understand the fear in your dream, it was a bit odd that way
I'd rather cuddle with a friendly Cheetah than a Cheater, lol. But yes, it was a scary dream because the cheetah was getting ready to pounce...I'm just glad I wake up before something bad happens. Always have.
I hate dreams like that, they are not dreams, they are nightmares. Seems like the bad dreams come when we are stressed out about something.
When I was a kid, maybe 12 or so, I was relied on to do the annual painting of the old bungalow's window frames, etc. But the eaves, soffit and faschia, were much higher off the ground, requiring an extension ladder, or the big wooden one-piece ladder about 16 feet long my Dad had bought years before. That one was really heavy, and cumbersome, and at that age I could barely "walk it" up to vertical position. The eaves were quite wide, at least 2 feet. With the ladder resting against the gutter, the underside was very difficult to reach, to paint. I was never afraid of heights, but knew full-well about taking dives from high places, as I had often piled huge amounts of snow up adjacent to the garage, and then jumped off the roof into them! What fun! I had some most frightening dreams later in life related to these idiotic antics. Always involving being up near the top of a very high ladder, which suddenly sways backwards away from it's upper support, and then I was falling......the paved driveway loomed up towards me during the fall, frightening as hell, the worst expected. The "hit" never occurred in the dream. Over the years, I'd say this dream recurred perhaps ten times. Frank
Frank - that's horrible I sing a little song to meself before sleep and watch something 'nice' before bed, I think what we watch has a bearing Also what Missy said - stress @Frank Sanoica
I ha e a lot of rising water dreams and there's no reason for them because I've never been in danger in real life regarding flooding or drowning. I also have a lot of dreams where I'm in a crashing airplane...I have been on many planes but never crashed and don't have a fear of flying. Dreams are weird, lol. Some dreams are so nice that I don't want to wake up!
I got interested in dreams after a life altering one many years ago. There are different variety of dreams. Dreams are not always what you would think...good or bad ones. Dreams have to be broken down piece by piece in order to get any real meaning from them .Its a process...lolol...for the most part, one should only concern themselves with a dream...if you can remember and describe almost every detail once you wake up.
This cheetah one was one I remembered very well, also details...like the blood on the patio door, my fear, etc.
