I'm sure @Michelle Anderson has one you can borrow @Ken Anderson...then she could take a picture of you in it so you could post it here for us. :)

These are some maxi dresses I like and definitely would wear. :) I've always liked long dresses and thought sometimes I should have been born in the days when that was all women wore. But if I couldn't wear my jeans and other pants with tops of my choice...being born back then would definitely not have worked for me. When I was young and girls did wear mostly dresses, I was such a tomboy that I would take my brothers jeans and wear them all the time and my mom finally got tired of fussing about this and just let me wear them...as long as I wore a dress to church and other family things, etc. :) I do like long dresses and skirts, etc. now...I just don't really have much of lifestyle for wearing them much anymore.

Jeans or shorts...tee shirts....tennis shoes or sandals....depends on the weather. Use to dress up a bit more until I attened a few functions where were everyone else dressed like they were headed to bed or the beach. So if you cant wear the above items...I aint going

Mostly jeans and capris for me. I do have a couple of nice pant suits for occasions, but no occasions lately ;)

Looking at some of the casual dresses shown here hmmmm, thinking of getting my sewing machine out of retirement.

Yes, I've always wished I could too....usually I have a picture in my head of what I want and can never find the perfect match. Or something is perfect but there's always something you don't like about it.

    Slim leg - not skinny
    High waist, nice material
I ordered a couple of pairs in different colours, they were called Bengaline
Had no idea what that meant, but they looked fine in the picture
When I got them, they were almost 'rigid' could have walked by themselves :p
All the pairs I've ordered the seams are terrible
So - I've settled for high waist jeans, haven't got them yet

I know what you mean about buying online and it not being what you thought Patsy... it also works the other way around too.

I buy black trousers from work from Bonmarche... simply because they are the best fit..and they give the best choice of all the high street stores of leg length.

However if you look at their stock online it looks horrible, while actually in real life their trousers are really good quality and much nicer than they look online

I buy from Bonmarche - they have some nice things online
I have found with most shops the items 'look great' but not when they arrive to me !
