I clicked on a shop online and suddenly there was a LOUD screech sound, like a scream It made me jump from me seat. The sound was quickly followed by the sounds of birds, loads of them. My first thought as I got to the window was a seagull was attacking smaller birds The sound was chaotic and unbearable as it was so loud ! I had to go and fetch Fabs to come to the window, after we both looked out, he realised the sounds were from behind us - on the computer !! I just couldn't believe this - but it was true What was that about ? I clicked off immediately as it was so piercing Boy - did I feel silly Gave us a giggle, once I composed meself .............
You must have had a video on and sometimes they switch to the next video.....the Birdman of Alcatraz perhaps?
Same here...the movie "Birds" scared the crap out of me, also I'm not fond of pigeons...but they're fond of me.
Ha ha - pigeons are OK, its Seagulls that are a menace here, bloomin nuisance Like to see them in flight though, they should do that more often
I thought of a joke on me way to the shops this morning ........................... Why did the duck cross the road ............. To get to the 'quack' doctor If you've heard this before - its sheer coincidence, as far as I'm concerned its mine
I don't know if you could call this a daft experience, but here goes. As some of you may remember, I sold off over 4 acres of the land next to and behind me with a large house and two story barn. Well a young new family have now settle in, and they have three horses. I have been watching the horses from my window for about a year and a half now. They are such interesting beings. Well about four months ago a strange thing started happening. Whenever I go outside now, one of the horses, (A pinto I think they're called.), will run to the nearest point it can to get close to me. The horse makes horse noises at me, and it seems to be trying to come to me. I have no idea what all this is about. Do any of you? My new neighbor said they have own the horse for about four years. They raised the horse from a colt, but they have never seen him do this with anyone before, not even them. I never touch the horse as I don't know anything about them. I'm not afraid of him, but I don't know what it is all about. Is that what you call daft?
No - not daft My parents took me to visit Ireland, I was around 9 years old We stopped at a small bridge that run over a stream, grass verge either side On the left verge stood a horse, I ran to the horse and cuddled his neck, I then spoke to him My Dad said to feed him, there were leeks nearby, so I did that. I asked my parents to leave me there while they continued on their way I stayed with the horse, just talking and stroking him The next day, I wanted to go back - there he was, I ran to him I climbed over the small fence separating us to be nearer to him I felt an overwhelming bond to this horse My Dad said lets go and pick berries on the other side of the verge We did so, we walked and talked, when suddenly we heard the cries of this horse, we looked and on the verge opposite, he was walking along crying to me I ran back and over to him. I cried when we left that horse and think of him often - I know we will meet again I feel, you have that bond with this horse, they sense things as we do I would encourage the friendship he seeks Ina @Ina I.
