@Chrissy Cross - I 'truly' haven't gotten over the London one, the couple from America still haunt my thoughts It was their 'first' trip abroad ! The car hit 'him' knocking him off the bridge onto a walkway, he died She survived, but I think her loss was the result of her passing. I saw her speak from the hospital - I will never forget her
Yes, when I read the individual stories it's hard to not to cry, we all have loved ones and can imagine what it must be like...well not totally and I hope I never have to experience that. But from 6 on I agree with Kens post because it will keep on happening ...
Oh, I'm not saying that none of it is genuine. The point is that they're unwilling to do anything to effectively make it stop. It's kind of like, if someone came into my house during the night and stole my computers, I would be genuinely angry and sad, and I might even cry. But I'd make a point of locking the door and taking other steps to keep them from stealing any more stuff.
Yes, I understand what you mean @Ken Anderson but I just didn't want to agree or "like" some of the things put forth... Yes, some of it is automatic, like the FB filter...some do it without even knowing why, etc. meaningless... I just don't want to lose our "humanity"!
So @Ken Anderson what do you suggest they do to make these attacks effectively stop? And how are they supposed to know when and where the next attack will occur?
I'll give credit to the Met police here, they have prevented 'many' terrorist attacks here I 'don't' give credit to the security at last night's venue at all. This guy must have worn a back pack that, combined with his 'look' - would tell me he needs to be searched, 'off' the premises
That will definitely improve things in the future but I think many of the terrorists are already where they're supposed to be and have been for many years...
ISIS takes its bow http://www.foxnews.com/world/2017/0...iana-grande-concert-attack-in-manchester.html
You're absolutely correct @Ken Anderson ...just as one of our columnists in todays' papers has written it...and I'm sure she speaks for all decent human beings worldwide regardless of their nationality http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4534016/Katie-Hopkins-Manchester-Arena-terrorist-attack.html Enough...with ''carry on as Normal'''...Enough, with ''this hasn't broken us''... Enough with the platitudes.... It's time to get ANGRY Get the hell on with it...and do something about this now... ...has Trump got a brother?...we need him here... because our weak lily livered politicians are spineless...and unwilling or unable to take care of this rampant terrorism themselves...
These terrorists know exactly how to look and what to wear, etc. so that they seem to be just another "normal" person attending a concert, etc. Patsy. It isn't going to be easy to tell them apart from anyone else now days. Nor will it be easy to know where they will strike next.
No necessarily that a back pack was worn. The Bomb disposal experts on the news said it could have been simply a jacket filled with the device, left lying on the floor of the foyer... What they do know is that it was High explosives...explaining that they know immediately by the colour of the smoke... High level Black smoke..low level white smoke..
Yep - fair point, I'm afraid I would search everyone that didn't look right to me But then, I suppose they would just blow themselves up anyway and me along with them !
