The Twister

saw this on the local news this morning. he has no idea its there. fortunately its moving away from him. his wife snapped the photo. claims she had a honey do list including mowing the lawn. hard to believe he can't hear it

There would be no picture if it was moving towards him!

The mower must be loud, or he's singing in a loud voice

 

Or he's wearing ear plugs.

 

OR, this isn't a real photo. Twister or man mowing added in?

 

I checked, couldn't see them - mind you he's a bit distant

 

Seems it's real...just that the twister is further away than appears in the photo.

Notice.........no wind around him! Two trees on right side are straight up and bush in middle same way. If a twister is that close, both of those items would be bent over quite a bit. I've taken enough photos the last 17 years to know (hopefully) a fake photo, aka "doctored" photo from a real one.

 

Of course Cody - our trees have bent over backwards today and no tornado !

 

I did read it was a real photo...but the tornado is a lot further away then it looks in the picture...that's why no wind.

 

I've not encountered a twister, but would have thought it be windy all the same

 

Ok, just read the article online about the photo. The wife ,that took it of her husband, said the tornado was much further away from him and their house than the photo shows. The tornado was also going away from them.

Even with that statement, there is absolutely no wind showing at all around the husband. Would definitely seem unusual to a pro, or even amateur photographer.
