My daughter and SIL and 2 grandsons are going on a Mediterranean Cruise on June 21st. Flying from San Francisco to Heathrow in London, then on to Spain, France and Italy. They'll be hitting the port cities in most of those countries but I'm a little worried.
Well I hope he dies....that will be another one gone....... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...spond-reports-gunfire-Paris-s-Notre-Dame.html
Too late, they've been planning this for awhile. Son in law has been saving points so they could all fly first class from SF to Heathrow. One ticket was $8,000 x 4...even with points it cost almost $3,000 for tax. Then the cruise etc....they'll be gone about 2 weeks and I'll worry every day. It was part of my grandson's graduation present. Funny that when I was 18 and just graduated from HS my family took a vacation to Europe, our first...my mom and dad and the four kids....not a cruise though and we were gone 6 weeks. We did Hungary, Portugal, France and Switzerland. I was in Notre Dame in 1969! Didn't worry about terrorists then. I still have a little charm I bought outside the cathedral at a souvenir stand. Lucky nobody was hurt or killed....there's a lot of people in that cathedral every day!
