I agree its obvious this hate issue has struck deep in you. but you or me or anyone cannot control it. they were fighting wars long before we were born. and the bad news is they will continue to fight long after we're dead and gone. it's man's nature to kill his fellow man. it's in the blood.
That's why we should have let them get on with it I like to hear different views and I appreciate all the replies I just can't be looking at 'everyone' as I did before Mind you, I'm no fool either - I still have a suspicious mind and not much gets past me ........... @Gary Ridenour
Being pro Brexit - I've seen a lot of hatred over that One Minister was stabbed last year for being 'against' Brexit The 'white' man that did this to her was an 'extremist' in his views He stabbed her several times in front of witnesses, she was a young Mother of two with a devoted husband As strongly as I feel about Brexit, I could never harm anyone with an opposite view I guess I just don't understand But I do understand the passion for a subject
I believe English as a second language classes are free. Correct me if I'm wrong. I haven't traveled out of the U.S. much but when I have it's not hard to find people who speak English. We may as travelers, be a little spoiled in that respect.
@Kitty Carmel - if you want to go to another country, then you should learn the language respectful thing to do
Yes, Patsy but if you are only on vacation or a short trip you won't learn much. If you have immigrated to the country then yes. I'm just stating when English speaking people travel, it's not hard to find people in other countries to speak English. My brother, who traveled a lot said he would find someone who was young, looked friendly and kindly ask if they spoke English. I don't think he ever had a bad experience doing this.
Anyone seen this - its a step in the right direction At least 500 imams and religious leaders have now refused to perform funeral prayers for the London Bridge attackers in condemnation of the “vile murderers”. Support for the move is growing as a group of British Muslims prepare to gather near the site of the atrocity to outline renewed efforts against extremism. The British Muslim Forum (BMF) said members would set out how communities and mosques will “challenge, robustly and precisely, the perverted interpretation of Islam that is put forward by Isis and other extremist groups”, while calling on people to report anyone expressing sympathy to authorities.
Well this should please some people White extremists deliberately used a van to run down Muslims leaving their Mosque last night The Muslims were helping a man in the street who had just had a heart attack Fortunately they were able to detain the extremist until police arrived, although two of the 3 men involved, escaped This more than saddens me, not just for the victims but the actions of these men will 'NOT' solve the problem of terrorists
OTOH Fear, concern, caution, vetting, observing, documenting, keeping stats, following up on threats, using common sense and surveillance when necessary, setting security parameters and reporting perceived plots within your community these are not hate. And apologists or enablers are hardly to be celebrated. I'd point out that as the Christians in Egypt fear Muslims so does the Muslim sect of the Ahmadiyya fear attack from other Muslims and so do Sunni fear some or even hate Shiite and vice versa. If you want an example of hate, look to the schools of Hamas. Personally I hate those supporting violence in any creed or culture. What's to like in such circumstance.
Don't get your point, except to say, we should have left well alone Blacks kill blacks - white kill whites - terrorists kill 'anyone'
