Well, I need to be truthful with you Babs as I can easily see you are also a saved born again Christian ... If you read my post about my sister you might understand why I get a bit protective when any 'born again' posturing comes up in forums or even face to face .... I was in a cult for 13 years and yes ma'm you CAN be a born again and saved christian but still in a semi Cult if the leader wants to be the Jesus they must worship and when the entire parish are like sheep to the slaughter ... I won't go farther but Chrissy knows the entire story. I also need to retract an error I posted ... I DO have one bit of baggage from that 13 years of a group that was bogged down in legalism .... Why is it that humans want to do the impossible and as I said in my opening post, begin again to wave the same filthy rags that couldn't get them to heaven in the first place ? How hard is it to understand that I was hungry, so I sinfully ordered a meal I had no money to pay with .... You paid my debt and the manager pronounced me free to go ... out the freekin door ... What I do next about my love of, and amazement with ... your monetary sacrifice and my food bill deliverence will be ... is ... my personal faith in action ... And before the term 'free ride' comes as an attack, let me say no Christian who truly knows of the true sacrifice will permit himself a 'free ride' .... The problem there however is everyone seems to just visually decide to judge who is taking 'free rides', lol! Resisting 'law givers', and the self righteous, and excercising free will when the concious is clear is not taking a free ride, it's defending and/or acting strictly on the logic declared to each by one's personal faith ..... Holy Cow ! Where the heck did this soap box come from ??? .....
6/20/2017 UPDATE : Have to straighten out a molehill that inadvertently became a mountain .... The above post used the term 'DIRTY OLD MAN' to create depth to my feelings only, and for artistic writing freedom only. No one have ever accused me with that 'handle', nor do I seek or want young women. My use in truth of that term was to show that I am of the feeling that if a man is still longing for a partner at my age, he must indeed be (tongue in cheek) a "DIRTY OLD MAN" ... in reality I know that many men my age still want a final partner in life ... I have no baggage about that term, it was my unfortunate idea to use it only to paint a picture of my lonelyness frustration and how my heart tells me to be like other men and just weave baskets or tie fishing flies ... be in other words miraculously cured of the need for a female companion ... I just am not prepared to do so at this time ....
My relationship with God my Father and Jesus my Savior is the most important relationship in my life @Michael Santi and these relationships affect every area of my life too. And while I've read about cults, etc. I am thankful to say I have never been caught up in one and never want to be either. And I am sorry that you had to go through this. I do pray God brings healing physically, emotionally, and spiritually from all wounds and pain this cult has caused you. And I also pray God's will shall be done in your life and that He will grant you the desires of your heart.

It rained here all day yesterday, but my additional lights arrived to add to the ones I've already mounted so I was in the garage all day then fell asleep till midnight ... it's not hot but it's muggy ...

There are just alot of reasons women lose interest in making love....the biggest one may be that most men have sex and a woman wants to make love.
Yes , you have truly hit the nail right on the head ... I often blame men for a lot of frustrations I find from women who are now guarded in every way because of 'Archie Bunker' types .... One hearing you talk suggests how in touch you and your husband must be ... what a glorious pairing ... but it's from your awarenessess ... ignorance to what is making all go wrong is another reason that 50% of marriages fail ... or has the percentage risen ?
Over here, we never had to even think about an AC, until recent years due to weather changing for us I would guess many people here are buying them now For me, I'm unable to, due to where I live, a retirement complex
Just read through all the posts. Also just woke up. Seems the topic is how hot it is and sex. 110 here today and for the sex part, never had any hang ups about it. As for the religion part...not my area of expertise.
