heh ... no real purpose except increased visibility for other drivers to see me easier ... they are just a silly vanity item ... bikes are 'babes' ... you buy your 'babe' baubles .... Why the best one, the red came out blurry and pink looking is beyond me ...
@Michael Santi , when you get to the point that your present cycle can no longer be tricked out anymore you might give one like this your attention.
That is AWESOME looking!! @Chrissy Cross, putting strings of LED light on a motorcycle like Michael has is the same as putting five yellow lights on the roof/cab, running boards and rear of a truck or on a boat. They look cool when lit up at night. We have "mood lighting" on the inside of our boat cuddy cabin. There is a strip of LED's on each side inside along the wall. Very little room in the cuddy to do anything, so don't know why "mood lighting" was even installed.
Lol ... it's still valid ... it just puts you in a BAD mood .... Oh Tim ... you are da man .... I was down all day the day I heard he had died at age 77 .... all of we bikers huddled around the tv every ... I believe it was every Wednesday night ... I was riding a BSA lightning 650 twin at that time ... now, the chrome tank alone can fetch near $800 in pristine condition ..
My 11 year old grandson in Illinois just got this a few weeks ago for his birthday....goes 17mph! Grandma is a little worried.
Where do you ride your motorcycle, @Michael Santi ? You said it was a cruiser bike, so I am guessing that means it is pretty much a highway bike as opposed to an off-road one. My son and my daughter both have motorcycles; but Robin rides her Ducati mostly off road (she likes fossil hunting) and my son rides both on the highway and on back roads. He lives in northern Idaho almost up to Canada, and here is a short video he made of one of his back-road rides up to an old mine where they used to mine gold. The scenery out there is awesome ! In the summer , I miss living in Idaho; but not in the winter. I have shoveled all the snow I ever want to shovel in my lifetime.
