Joe's out for the moment but you can order anything you want on any day, Abby. Today (sunday) Joe is featuring "Holy Grounds". Sunday is typically a day of rest. He had a breakfast special today of Hawaiian french toast made with Hawaiian King bread. Monday is not planned. Tuesday used to be Cookie day but I think that may change as our baker is on hiatus. Wednesday Joe has "Closed" but I always forget that and show up and so does everyone else…oops lol. Thursday is Game Day when we all play Jumble (unscrambling of letters to make words…halloween words this week). Friday is Live Music/local Open Mic. Saturday is Jukebox. However, don't forget though that THIS Friday and Saturday are the Halloween Party!! .
While things are quite, I want to talk about our Halloween party, this coming Friday and Saturday. I have come up with my costume, of sorts....not to give anything away but it is super! I have instructions on how to post a poll for voting (sounds appropriate), but am not sure if it will fill the bill. We want the voting to be anonymous, so if we can't vote, we will have a distinguished panel of judges, waiting in the wings. I will let you know. Reminder: The three categories are Female, Male, and Pet's in costume. This kind of party, can only work, if everyone posts a few times (or many), so be thinking how you can participate in a way that's fun for you. Post a picture of you "in costume" either as a picture or if you can, as your avatar. You may share music, cartoons, poems, or jokes, that are in the spirit of the day! Part starts at 8 am Friday, and runs till the "cows come home" on Saturday! Hope you can drop by! Look for the temporary sign, out front: "BOO-Skidoo"!
Good morning, you caught me cleaning up the place, to get it in shape for our Halloween Blast, coming up. I cleaned everything!....except for the cobwebs...we'll keep the cobwebs. Well, due to popular demand, we are also "cleaning out" our weekly schedule.....it's gone. We will be open, 24/7 starting today! This means that there will be less "ordering and serving" time, and more "talking & squawking" time! Just come in and fix things, the way you like them, but don't talk with your mouth full! Thursday will still be our day for games, and Sunday will still be our holy grounds day. The key will still be under the mat, in case someone forgets....and locks up!
Oh boy oh boy oh boy!! I want to be a Fairy but Chrissy has that one already, LOL! Maybe she will surprise us with another costume?? I'll never forget her "pizza" thread she did for Phil, LOLLLLLLL!! We'll be here Joe! I better get to work on a costume hugs, denise
