Nah they don't exist. Now banshees and leprechauns and Trolls under bridges, well that's a different thing.Spirits too. They appear and disappear from bottles around here.

Pearly gates and stoking fires though can get costly so maybe they pay a stipend at one place or another. Then there's the sheet laundry every decade or so. Don't think them ghosts wear clothes under the sheets, sorta like a kilt? I thought I saw a ghost once but it twere naught but a very pale Hillary post election
I believe ghosts are like ghost-images on TV-sets, they are images resulting from magnetic residue - like a holographic imprint. In that sense they are more like apparitions and not ghosts of actual departed people. Having said that, I have studied the Occult since I was old enough to read and I have concluded that departing spirits, of people who have only recently died, as opposed to departed ,can under the right circumstances be seen. As for Guardian Angels, I have had direct experience of one incident where I was saved from being hit by a Double-decker bus. I was in the middle of a road I had tried to run across which had a blind spot, and the Bus was on me before I knew what was happening. My momentum and the speed of the Bus should have resulted in my annihilation. It didn't. i suddenly found myself " frozen in time " balanced on one leg, in the middle of the road while the Bus missed me by inches.. To this day, I don't even know if the bus-driver saw me - he certainly didn't slow down or stop. There have been other incidents like this in my life where I know I owe my survival to a higher and very benevolent providence.
