For what seems like forever, have used basically the same browser and homepage for ever. After the last two years of updates of Firefox, and each time working worse than before- I have ditched it and the homepage...(not google) I have used apparently way too long. I can tell a difference already. Thought I was going to hate losing my Besthomepageever ...it had almost everything. But now I have a different one, that I can set up to my own choosing, and think it will work find. If nothing else, everything seems to load much quicker. Happy Dance ....
Chrome... always have had it, but found it confusing, but guess I have the hand of it now. Plus Edge, for Windows.. it is faster also. Firefox just got to be too much to deal with, and have read elsewhere many have become dis satisfied with Firefox.
No thanks...I'd rather be bored. I'm on an iPad or iPhone most of the time. I guess I should be adding some apps to my new iPhone. I have it very basic now but...meh!
I have a MAC desktop...and an also have an Ipad Air2 so I use Safari as my main browser... I also use Chrome.. and Firefox.... but firefox is a PITA sometimes, and is constantly updating and as you say usually for the worse.. I have windows on my Laptop... much as I hate Microsoft sometimes there are things that can't be done on a MAC and Vicky Verky... so I keep windows on my Lappy...
@Holly Saunders ...hv Windows on desktop...use my phone more though.Edge is faster for Windows but can not seem to personalize it like I want. Since Chrome is on my phone ...it seems to work good...only thing us ...knows every move I make...or seems that way.
I tried a W10 upgrade last year, hated it so much I switched back to W7. That's one reason the computer I bought months ago is still in the box- it has W10, and I'm not looking forward to dealing with it.
It does take getting use to...I had to turn off all kind if thingies...so I cud least set upon the throne if poo without that dang thing knowing about it.
Firefox has gotten bloated, more and more over the years. I like Chrome, has an add-on so that you can "cast" Netflix, Youtube and other providers from your laptop(or phone) to your TV.
I have always been a browser junkie and, even now, I have six or seven web browsers, and I'll click into one of the others from time to time, but 98% of the time I opt for Safari. Years ago, I loved Opera and I have Opera for Mac, but I don't love it so much anymore. Safari is clean, it works well, and I don't see much of a reason to choose any other.
