My favorite dog is Barbie, she is a 3-year old pekingese who is the only female among our 3 dogs. Barbie is always on my side when my husband is not around otherwise she would pester my husband who would stay with her in the garden while she was chasing anything that she can see, including passersby in the street. And when I take a nap, Barbie would also take a nap although sometimes she seemed to be guarding me.
Oh she is precious Corie She looks a lot like my baby I had for 15 years. I still miss my Miss Toney:
Here I am about 12 years ago in Hungary with my Hungarian Kuvasz dog, Vicky. Sadly we had to leave her when we came back to the states.
The first pic is my daughter's home and the second one was in Hungary. I had a view of the Danube River in that house...
Actually this is my living room and that is an actually picture of Pickles on that pillow....my daughter had it made for me.
You lived in Hungary?? Wow, you've had an interesting life Chrissy I've never been anywhere but the States, and Canada.
Yes from 1997-2003. My husband was there on business but we came back when his cancer returned, he died the next year and I got left alone in Fresno. I also speak it fluently. It was actually my first language since my parents came from Hungary in the 50's.
So sorry Chrissy, did you like it there better then the States? I've always wondered what it would be like to live in another country.
I loved it there but because I was living on my Husbands great US salary, not like the average hungarian on $300 a month at that time. I did meet many wonderful people who are still friends today. Its a beautiful old country with wonderful people and great food, very fattening though.
Sounds neat Chrissy, I do my traveling online so I will go take a look a bit later. Getting ready for a long walk today. May help with my depression, hugs, denise
