You were living in the pioneer days, what one thing that you have now that wasn't available back then, would you miss the most? For me it would be my laptop.
But none of those things would work in the Pioneer Days, so I think I will change my mind and say I would miss my King Size bed the most...from what I've read those Pioneers did not have good beds to sleep on.
If we're going that route @Babs Hunt ....my pillows are more important....they have to be just right and the top one has to be one of those miracle foam neck support ones. Also have to have a very thin pillow under that and then a long pillow to hold and/or lean on. I don't think I could fall asleep without that holding on pillow. Ive slept places where I had to improvise ...rolling up towels etc.
Yes I would miss my laptop if I woke up in the Pioneer days tomorrow morning but it would not do me a bit of good, on the other hand my bed would work just fine even back then.
True enough. To say that I would miss the Internet would a whole host of other things as well, not the least of which would be electricity. That said, there are a lot of things that I'd miss but I can't think of anything I'd want to take with me.
Definitely my computer but if I had to choose something that wasn't powered by electricity, I think it would be the ready availability of modern medicine...
This is not a problem with me all I have to do is visit my next door neighbor and I am back in the pioneer days. I live in the back woods of the DR i have all the modern things but walk across the street and no electricity no water cook with wood ride horse back. If forced I could adapt. There is benefits to living in a third world country
Oooh another thing I would miss would be my Tempur sensation mattress. The thought of sleeping on a lumpy horse hair or straw filled mattress wouldn't be my idea of joy...
