But sometimes babies are born with things different ...with the physical deformities that can be seen, sometimes they can be fixed, maybe it's the same with gender. Why would a person make up something like that and go through all the trouble if they didn't feel that they weren't the right gender? Why would God create a person like that and then say it was wrong??
There are babies born like this...aren't they created by God also? And before modern technology it wouldn't be known what sex the child is... Ambiguous genitalia (also known as atypical genitalia) is a birth defect (or birthvariation) of the sex organs that makes it unclear whether an affected newborn is a girl or boy. This condition occurs approximately once in every 4,500 births. You may also be born with a certain sex organ but your brain isnt complying. The brain is also a part of Gods creation...no?
There are a lot of things that people think, believe, say or do that I might disagree with, but I don't feel the need to hate them for it.
THAT particular observation should be mutually agreed upon by all of us. Hating "stuff" is entirely understandable but hating a person is out of the question.
Yes, @Chrissy Cross some babies are born that way and God did allow that to happen. Why? Part of that reason is because we live in a fallen World ruled by satan now. If Adam and Eve would have never disobeyed God we would probably all be living in the Garden of Eden now and everything there was perfect. But because of their sin and disobedience, and also satan and his followers...we now live in a World that is not perfect, and we live in imperfect bodies which become sick, etc. and these imperfect bodies also produce children with defects and imperfections too. Sin brought all of this about...and one day Jesus' death on the Cross will bring perfection and eternal life back. But that day isn't here yet and so in an imperfect World sin, imperfections, evil, and death will keep on happening for now. I do not want to make this what many of you refer to as "religious" talk. But there is no way around the fact that we are all imperfect people living in an imperfect World because of sin and the evil of satan. That's why it is so important to show the love of God to everyone...regardless of whether you agree or accept their truth over God's. Hate and evil is never the answer to anything but more hate and evil. Love on the other hand can stifle hate and evil and bring peace and healing to all those whose hearts are open to it.
Okay let's get the count and see what we have: Sex.......................Check Politics..................Check Religion................Check Social diseases....Check Race....................Check Gender relations..Check Good vs Evil........Check Love.....................Check Hate.....................Check The only thing I can readily see missing is a socio-geographic, no, I stand corrected. There was some north, south, east and west in there so yeah folks, I'd say we covered about everything. Good Job!!! Let's see now, where's those nice new members we were waiting for.....?
As the OP of this thread I'd just like to add this has been a really interesting and informative discussion..and the fact that most people could discuss it rationally is something that's unusual in my experience , among mixed views social media forums..
That's exactly what I love about this Forum...being able to discuss just about anything with each other....and respecting each others differing opinions.
I agree with Holly's summing up of this thread, personally I have learnt a lot from Billie Lanes posts, though I have always accepted transgender as an aspect of human nature, I knew very little about the subject and appreciate a lot more the realities of what it must feel like to be a transgender individual. .....a big thank you to all who enabled this thread to unfold....
I, for one, DO hate something. Ambiguity. I see plenty of that in this thread. Following my Mother's ages-old advice, "Put up, or shut up", I choose to shut up. Frank
