Yes, there was a clique and you had to walk on eggshells over there but the people there now are mostly new and I don't even know them and am hoping that some don't realize that they've been unbanned. I always have the option of leaving if I see some of those members.

I lurked on both forums for quite awhile before deciding to post here. SF seemed just a little bit 'too busy' for my liking. I've seen enough tension on other forums I posted on in the past. We here, might disagree on one thread, but on another we are civil to each other. That's enough for me...
Most were banned because of conflicts mainly on political threads, but I and several others were banned for no apparent reason, .... they went through a phase of having warring cliques and banning all and sundry seemed to be their only answer..
I just looked over on sf. Seems like most of the same bunch of left wing Bush haters now hate Trump even more. It's hard to believe all the people praising the admin for letting them come back. Isn't he the same one who banned you?
Yes, it is the same admin, and like @Terry Page mentioned, most of us were not banned because we said or did anything wrong there; we simply somehow got caught in the middle of the clique wars. Matrix always liked me before; and I think he liked most of the other people he banned as well; so he was probably mislead by what people told him, which can happen to anyone. I always thought that he tried to be fair but a permanent lifetime ban for no cause has puzzled all of us who were banned that way. I have no idea what made him decide to lift the bans either; but there are friends on the forum that I (for one) have missed, and they are not on here, or do not post if they are.
I've returned but I haven't praised or thanked Admin....if I get an apology for an unwarranted Ban then I will thank them..but otherwise.. *meh* I'll post occasionally there because I have friends there...but it will never be the place that was as comfortable to me as it was before...
I was enthusiastic that I could be CeeCee again and not use an alias but it's mostly new people now and I still feel like I'm walking eggshells over there. I'll see how it goes.
Yes as Holly said, why thank Admin for something that should never have happened in the first place, it does leave a nasty taste in your mouth
Well in my case I probably deserved the ban and then I kept getting banned for having an alias which is a no no. But then other people didn't get banned that did the same and even worse.
