It is sad that being the father of Jerry’s kids and each year raised money for Muscular Dystrophy and when he found there was a cure the MD They fired him and his staff go and told them they cannot tell anyone the reason.
Well he had a good long life and lived it well and helped a lot of people...now may he rest in peace.
Sorry @Martin Alonzo ..I didn't quite understand that. It's probably just me being dense but I just didn't get what you were saying... I just saw that JL had died when I got home this evening... I was never a fan, and like CC I don't care for slapstick comedy , but I hope he lived a happy life and didn't suffer at the end... may he R.I.P with the rest of his buddies in the rat pack!!
Holly Dr. Wallach went to Jerry and showed him the cause and cure for MD and he took it to the MD society and they fired him but his contract had a gag order in it so he could not tell the truth and it is sad he took it to his grave.
OMG!!! Really?? Why would they do that ?...do you think it's all to do with Big Pharma silencing people?
From what little research I did on the subject, now the goal is to stop MS entirely. The disease can be treated successfully, but of course at great expense. Given that there are significant genetic implications, it may just continue to mutate. Sound familiar? Quality health for those who can pay is probably here to stay.
I have read that supposedly there are cures or near cures for many diseases including some cancers. I must think it is odd that even today they claim the common cold can not be cured. Oh please, being able to cure any of these things would put many out if work and companies to lose billions. Old time remedies still work for some things. I had a wart of all things growing on the top of my forehead up close to the scalp. About gone now...how ? Putting apple cider vinegar on it! Bingo..cured
They eradicated it veterinarian medicine it was called white muscle disease. It can be prevented very cheaply. The orthodox treatment has not been very successful. There is a family taking an wholistic approach. https://strongly.mda.org/fundraising-events/
Getting back on topic, I think Jerry stayed too long, and a replacement should have been chosen long ago. It became all about him, and he ended up a bitter man. Most comics are never really happy. He should have been grateful and retired from the on air position gracefully. Even as a young guy, I never considered him to be funny.
