Revelations 12:9 does not mention the weather, but the one and only time the planets, stars, moon and sun are aligned to fulfill that verse. What will happen no one knows and he did not say.
I have a nephew who is sort of a religious nut. He told me yesterday that the eclipse was a sign from God. He said that it split the US exactly in half and that the US is done for. I forget the details of what he said. Well, the US may be done for but it won't be because of the eclipse, it will be because of the people in it.
I don't think that the recent total solar eclipse was a sign from God, but I do think the heavenly alignment on September 23 will be one. Unlike the eclipse, the majority of people will miss it.

What will happen is unknown. He makes no claims to know, some think the rapture will occur, but he is not saying that.
