I have been reading about monuments in honor of Confederate soldiers being removed or torn down. There was one recently vandalized in Durham, North Carolina. I have to admit, that made my heart ache. Out of curiosity, I decided to see if there are any monuments to Union soldiers. I have found that there are some but to my surprise, they are in the south. Get this, monuments to Union soldiers paid for and put up by Southerners. They are intended to honor those brave men, black and white, who fought so honorably for what they believed was right, as did the Confederate soldiers. There were no bad men in that war only men defending their rights as they saw them. This one is at Vicksburg, Va. This one is at Baltimore, Md. These two are in Florida. Now, my question is: should these monuments also be removed?
Well in my opinion if they are removing one side's monuments...then they should remove the other side's too.

Confederate soldiers are considered United States military veterans, and even received a pension. Those behind the agenda to remove Confederate statues couldn't care less about race relations or history, and would probably welcome the destruction of Union war heroes as well, because the real goal is destruction of our society. If you remember, Obama said that we would have to change our history in order for his agenda to be achieved.
This is just like everything else....all poppy cock.....these statues have been here for years and were never a problem. Wait until they start renaming streets ...we already have school here being forced to change names...it is Ridiculious and costly ! So No...leave the dang statues alone.
they got one here in KC. a confederate monument in an unrelated story race baiting BLM is going to try and close up Dollywood. to much north and south??? no link yet heard this on local TV
Ive never been to Dollywood and I'll probably never go but to close it is just CRAZY! Where will it all end?
