We are watching an American documentary series of close encounters with UFOs. Really interesting and sometimes gripping. The experts on the subject are very credible too. Many sightings are by credible witnesses such as police, one sighting was viewed by 3 policemen one of them 15 miles away from the other two, he managed to take a photo with a polaroid camera but not good enough detail. The one that stands out for me, was on a farm, the boy entered the barn but his dog alerted him to a strange sound, when he came out, he looked up as the dog was doing - and saw a glowing object just feet away. The object hovered just above ground and the light from it was dazzling. The upshot was, the boy had eye damage for a while, similar to arc eyes, the dog was blinded in one eye. He called his parents to come, and the Mother took a very good picture of the circular mark the craft had left behind. Which remained for many many years - may still be there ............... The authorities claim it was a 'weather phenomena' With the other sightings, authorities claimed ..................weather balloons Anyone seen this series ?
Don't think I've seen it. While I do believe we are not alone in the Universe, I don't believe any Aliens have landed on earth...at least not recently.
usually the ones i heard of turned out to be fakes so which are real??? pilots were also a source both civilian and military
Plenty of pilots have reported sightings that go way back - always hushed up by the authorities though
I have never seen a fling saucer but that is not saying I have not seen things I could not identify. It is pretty ignorant to think we are the only people or intelligent life in the universe and to think if they are out there we are so important they need to talk to us. If they traveled across space to get here we look like a simple life form. We observe ants but we don't try and have a conversation with them just watch. I personally think there is a lot of information about these things that is for some reason being with held.
Wonder what that could be ? Sightings go back that 'I' know of to the first world war. Soldiers, even Churchill and the Russian leader saw them We observe other countries, so I see no difference in 'them' observing us
It's not the same as us observing other countries. These aliens have to be much much more advanced than we are. Anyway, Ive discussed this subject with my husband for years or argued it and I don't feel like doing it now...sorry. I'd delete my post if it wasn't quoted. Don't even know why I'm posting...said I was taking a break.
Somebody has to be flying these unidentified flying objects........especially when they are as large as some people report they are. Not huge, but large. IOW, bigger than something being remotely controlled.
Just a thought, I wonder why everyone thinks (including myself) that any potential Alien life out there might be far more advanced than we are. There's no proof that any UFO..are from Space they could be something that our own government and scientist are testing on the quiet... I have read like probably most of you..and watched things on TV that point to ET activity, but is it real I wonder... (just playing devils advocate here)...that although there doesn't seem to be in my opinion anyway, that we could possibly be the only life form in the universe, that's crazy to think that...but what if, just what if....... WE are in fact the highest intelligent life form in the Universe?

There has been many many stars like our sun that have come and gone we are in the universe a new comer. There is lots of evident that our ancestors were smarter than us and the earth had many intelligent civilizations before us.
here's a UFO that was identified many years back here. the B2 which flies from Whiteman AFB east of the metro area several miles away. they were using the metro area here at night for target practice and they're avionics package. wife and I were woke more than once in the middle of night to the most strange engine noise I have ever heard. sounded like a UFO.
