Simply stunning....is that really you @Tim Burr ?...you both look like film stars , absolutely beautiful
@Holly Saunders Thank you for the kind words. My wife is the stunning one; she planned the wedding while I was deployed. I flew back 3 days before the wedding and left after a week to head back. Such is the life in the Air Force...
yes she is beautiful @Tim Burr , but don't do yourself down, you're a handsome man.... I know what you mean about the fast wedding..I had the same. My ex husband was deployed in Jacksonville USA with the Royal Navy ( I hadn't seen him for 2 months) ...he was allowed a long weekend leave for the wedding. He arrived back in the UK on the Friday we married on the Saturday at Mid-day... had the reception in the afternoon and early evening... had one night together and he flew back on the Sunday. I didn't see him again for 3 months.
I'm glad you started this topic @Jeff Tracy and I absolutely love your wedding picture. Maybe some of us have been hesitant to post our wedding pictures because we have lost our spouse through death or divorce, etc. Some of us have been married more than once. I'm one of those married more than once ones, a fact I'm really not proud of nor do I wish things had ended up that way. However, I have been blessed with a new husband and marriage that I am happy about and I'm happy to share our wedding day photo here. We got married on the beach in St. Augustine, FL...in front of us was sunshine and beautiful sea green ocean with the waves playing our wedding music. Behind was storm clouds heavy laden with the rain that was kind enough to let us finish saying our vows before it drenched us. One of our friends took the Wedding pictures assuring us he was good at taking pictures and he also was going to video our special day. He forgot to charge the video batteries or whatever made it work...so we have about 2 minutes of video and his picture taking skills left alot to be desired too. But we did get a few pictures that showed our joy on our Wedding day and I am happy to say that 13 years later we still feel and show that joy at having been blessed with each other.
Chrissy, I bet you have some beautiful wedding pictures of you with your husband. I'd love to see one but will understand if you feel it would be to painful for you to share with us.
Actually No I don't , Babs... the first wedding had lots of guests there...and the photos were taken by a friend of ours as wedding gift..my ex husband was wearing his Naval Uniform.... but about 4 years after we got divorced they had been taken out to show a visitor.. and put into the magazine rack by someone , and without realising I tipped the magazine rack into the Bin for the dustmen...it wasn't until I was looking for them a few days later that I was told by my family member that they'd been placed in the magazine rack... so they were all gone!! My second wedding was very quiet , just me his nibs and my daughter who was about 23 at the time ... no fanfare, just at the registry office, and a couple of snaps... not worth showing them tbh
