The police chief recently amended an earlier statement to say that they have not ruled out terrorism or that the shooter had become radicalized and, of course, we know that ISIS has claimed responsibility.
As of today I have come to the conclusion that this attack provided him with the one thing he wanted...Notarity...dead or alive his name wil be remembered.
Sorry Gloria , who are you talking about ??? People like this go in the the spittoon of history not in the memories of decent people. If I tread in poo I forget it as soon as possible. He and those like him are poo on the shoes of decent society. Remembered as an unpleasant thing best swiftly forgotten. We should only remember to be more careful who we allow on our sidewalks in the future.
For several days after the shootings, the shooter was described as a heavy drinker, yet now the casino people are saying that in the several years that he came to the casinos, he never drank alcoholic beverages.
Yes, I just heard that from Steve Wynn which surprised me because last week I read he drank a lot. Guess there's a lot of information that isn't factual. I also heard last week that the note was on yellow paper, today I heard someone say it was pink.
No suicide note, just a note with some numbers on it. They say it's distances and angles and trajectories for the best shot.
I'm still wondering; WHY? He had everything a man could want except for somebody who loved him. Could that have anything to do with it?
I doubt it...he wasn't UNLOVED. He had a GF, some family....he sent his mom a walker not too long ago. He was a compulsive gambler...that can't be too fun...he might have been sick of his life but I don't know why he killed others....no sense to that.
He "Sent' her a walker. I wonder how long it had been since he had visited her. I think I read that his brothers hadn't had contact with him in months. One hadn't seen him in years. Besides that, Medicare would have paid for her to have a walker.
I have no idea, Shirley. That's what his brother said. Maybe he sent her a nicer one than Medicare covers... I haven't seen my brother or sister in more than a year...they live far from me...means nothing. We're a close family but just can't get together a lot because of distance, and commitments.
