@Kitty Carmel , yes I remember Soap...it was funny and I think I watched it but can't remember too much about it. Will see if it's on YouTube.
Have Gun will travel... Also remenber radio shows my mom listened to...she like Arthur Geoffrey for one.
I don't remember listening to radio except for songs and it was a transistor radio. Think we had our first TV when I was about 4 in 1955.
I am watching the orginal 'Star Trek' TV shows on BBC America an one episode has an actor that I remember, but not his name. I remember he was in a show in the 70's, so to Google I go. The show was 'Here Come the Brides' 1968-1970 and starred Robert Brown ( the actor who started my search ) Bobby Sherman and David Soul. Lumber Jacks living in Seattle. A fun, family show. Anybody remember it?
Get TV over here has been playing 7th Heaven for a few months now and I am really enjoying watching this series again.
I saw that you replied to this post and before I clicked on it to see what you wrote ...7th Heaven popped into my head. And I was right, There are so many old shows that Ive forgotten about on Netflix. Some are very old, I can't really seem to get into them too much anymore.
Get TV is also playing Ghost Whisperer too before 7th Heaven. Which I also enjoy watching. Great minds think alike Chrissy!
I binge-watched that on Netflix, Hulu or somewhere about a year ago. As a preacher, I would have certainly considered him to be on the liberal side but, as a television show, it was a lot better than most of the rest of the stuff that was available.
One of my favorites was Star Trek. I watched the original episode on tape a couple of years ago and was amazed at how primitive the special effects were. They sure improved them a lot as time went by.
