I much prefer my camera to the iPhone for taking photos, but I often take my camera with me and forget to take any pictures.
Our timeshare is at Woodstone Meadows at Massanutten Resorts in Massanutten, Virginia. Four bedrooms are a bit more than we need but we can trade down for a one- or two-bedroom unit, and bank the points. With the points that we get for this unit, we get a lot of points that can be used through RCI for smaller units throughout the country, and even hotel rooms. Also, since it's a ski resort and we don't ski, it doesn't cost nearly as many points in the off-season. Here's the link to the resort itself. There are a lot of activities, most or all of which we won't avail ourselves of, but still.
We are here. The place is very nice, and very large - and we're only using half of it. Obviously, we don't need the four bedrooms that we own for this week - ours is a four-bedroom timeshare, but can be divided into two units, one with a full kitchen, the other with a partial kitchen, whatever that means. So we get points that we can use elsewhere when they rent all or part of our unit during our week, and we can use them for hotels or another timeshare on another date. I'll post some pictures tomorrow, probably.
That's good to know and I'm sure you have left strict instructions. My experience is that cats will retreat away from the door not toward the door when someone they don't know is coming through it. My cats hiding place if my step dad is here or the vacuum starts is behind the bed. I think it's nice to get away. I hope you have a good time and safe travels.
On Thursday, I think, we'll be headed back to our timeshare in Massanutten again, although we won't be staying as long as we did last year.
Oooh I just noticed this thread was from last year... well have a good time, and let us see the pitchers, purlease....
I think we're getting a smaller unit this time than we did last time. This is our week so it doesn't cost anything but, if I understand it correctly, we get a big unit one year, a smaller one the next. That's okay. We had way more room than we needed last year, though. If it's too cramped, I'll send Michelle to a Motel 6.
