I'm 98% disposable e-cigger now and buy from NEwhere.com. I like the fact that this disposable e-cig lasts at least 2.5 - 3 days for me. Blu lasts about 2 - 2.5 days for me. I like both and can get it near by. Hawaii just recently passed no e-cig and no cigarette smoking by bus stops. I like e-cigs more now than regular cigarettes. I will sneak a pack once in a while though, but soon this will stop. No one sells locally NEwhere disposable e-cigs so I order it online where I found in their special request box stating how much I bought in one package mailing gets me the exact number I bought. I'm glad I made the switch and kept my promise to my Mother that passed in July. She kept an article I recently came across about the benefits of smoking e-cigs she kept.
@Krissttina Isobe You do your Mom's memory justice by respecting her wishes even now. She would be pleased if she knew you went the rest of the way, the final step to nicotine-free. When I was in grade school, 6th. grade, our Science teacher, a wonderful and thoughtful man, described to us what nicotine was, and could do. He told us that if a bit was rubbed on the forearm daily, it was a given that skin cancer would develop there. I never forgot that admonition, never put a cigarette to my lips (but did try a "joint" one time, ugh). I firmly believe smoking would have killed me long ago, as it did my sister. So, my feelings are, if dying prematurely agrees with one, smoke away. Frank
https://www.livescience.com/54754-what-e-cigarettes-do-in-your-body.html My opinion on this is that I would rather my husband quit smoking all together than just switch from one way of "smoking" to another...as that is what e-cigarettes and vaping seem to be to me. A long time ago cigarettes weren't supposed to be harmful either...who knows what they will find in the future about e-cigarettes and vaping. If you are putting something to your lips and inhaling...that's still "smoking" to me.
I hope so Patsy...but from the link I shared it sounds like it could be a lot more than that. Maybe they should start making bubble gum and chocolate play cigarettes again and then everyone could "smoke" those.
@Babs Hunt ".....who knows what they will find in the future about e-cigarettes and vaping" I read about one man who was seriously burned when his e-cigarette exploded in his face. Such occurrence is likely suppressed from the using public. Frank
I think if we live long enough we will find just like with tobacco that smoking e-cigarettes and vaping will end up contributing to health problems in the future too. We all know that the only thing that helps our health is to quit bad habits for good...not to switch one for another.
@Babs Hunt "....quit bad habits for good...not to switch one for another. Ahhh........if only my own were fewer....... Frank
Awww..@Frank Sanoica...if only we all could be perfect. It isn't going to happen on this earth so I hope you aren't beating yourself up for those bad habits you haven't conquered yet. And just so you know...you can conquer them if you really want to.
I started smoking at around age 18, and quit somewhere between 45 and 50. When I stopped I was doing 2-3 packs of clove cigarettes a day. A whole lotta money up in smoke.
@Neville Telen Around sixty-bucks a carton around here, something like $0.30 up in smoke each time a stick is burned. Frank
