First thing, when wife retires. Second thing, moving out of here! Third thing, more money.........to have fun with, travel and buy more things we want (and need). How about you?
After just taking an ibruprofen, I know exactly what you mean. Also, just remember Chrissy, from reading a reply you recently done about getting a soulmate, you do things for him and visa/versa. A relationship isn’t just one way.
Looked for it, but couldn’t find it. Anyway, you wrote something about that you’d like to find a soulmate, but thinking about it, cooking for him, doing his laundry and caring for him in sickness might not be there for you. You also meantioned about not wanting to give up your space.
Oh...yes...that's why I said maybe I want a soulmate...I'm not sure but of course if I met someone and fell in love I would do all those things...couldn't imagine not doing it. I'm a giver and was a very good wife, no complaints.
Pain free will do me...I'd like my daughter to be nearer ..or me nearer her...but if I could only have one..it would be the Pain thing... I can cope with anything if I'm not suffering Pain..
Then again, I should have added this: perhaps you could get really lucky and meet a guy that will have the kind of relationship YOU want. He does the laundry, cooks, never needs to be taken care of and sees you when you want him to. How’s that sound?
I truly hope one day you will have both those things Holly...no more pain and a daughter who lives closer to you.
That's not the kind of relationship I would want...I have no problem with those things if I'm in love....don't worry @Cody Fousnaugh if it ever comes to it...I'll make a darn good wife! Don't hold your breath waiting for a wedding invitation because I'm not even looking.
Perhaps you should be looking, in some way. Actually, I believe all of us, at our age now, deserve happiness in whatever ways we want it. We’ve all earned it, that’s for sure.
I'm not looking but if it happens it happens...that's how I met my husband, also my ex....wasn't looking. Maybe I'll bump into him...it's possible!
I can only hope (and pray) that you, Holly, myself and anyone else on this forum who has some, like myself, or a lot, like you ladies, get rid of it (or at least lesson it traumatically). That would definitely make us happier!
Yep...anything is better without pain. I'm at a standstill with PT. I'm better than when I started but not there yet and may never get there. My range of motion has improved but my shoulder is hurting today, yesterday too.
