i know most of us quit making a list long ago but this year I need to make changes in my life...Ive gotten into a rut and Ive also gained a few pounds (the horror) and before I gain more I'm starting a diet. Some type of low carb one that has worked for me in the past. I'm also going to exercise more and this year I'm going to check out my god awful senior center in hopes of maybe making a friend or two. They also have exercise classes there so maybe I'll do that too. I'll do almost anything except eat there, lol. Any of you plan on making any changes in your life or lifestyle?
I'm also going to be nicer online so you can come back @Cody Fousnaugh I understand your unhappiness in Florida. It's probably a mixture of things and not just the weather...too many people, crime, etc.
Not actually a resolution, but yes I'm going on a diet tomorrow...gotta lose quite a few pounds since I retired in July, and piled it on now I'm not on my feet all day long racing around everywhere and not eating all day ...so it's gotta come off, because my knees really hurt when I climb the stairs...
My New Year's resolution is to get rid of those !$#@^%&*#! gremlins in my closet who keep shrinking my clothes.
...well we're 45 minutes into january 1st...and I sat and watched a quiz programme I recorded with the remains of a tub of strawberries and cream Häagen-Dazs, and Hubs went off to bed .. It's surely only a few years since I could never visualise being at home on New years eve... much less watching a quiz programme with ice-cream for company...lol
I'm probably the worst of all...I couldn't even make it to watch the ball drop in NYC which is only 9:00 pm in California. Think I fell asleep at 8:30 pm.
lol...not really I've never been a drinker... I could be up until 5am in those days , come home, grab an hours' sleep get showered and go to work for 9 hours and still be full of energy lol
