State Of The Union Address

I'll be watching....as long as I can stay awake.

 

Soon as he says something to hack you off...you will be awake

 

I'll be watching so that I can see what he really says instead of what the so called "news media" says he said.

 

I predict I'll be able to stomach very little.

 

Me, too. They always get sickening in their coverage.

 

When will it be over? Did I miss it? WHAT did I miss? Hard-sell, soft-sell, no-sell?

Politics befuddles me.

That's not likely. I agree with just about everything he does. He's been a great president. I mentioned staying awake because I;m usually asleep before the SOTU will be over.

 

And it begins....instead of talking about Trump's speech the crazy News Media is trying to start trouble because Melania and Trump did not arrive together.

I just can't understand why they can't arrive together...they know they'll be feeding the rumors.

I really don't think Melania gives a rats a** about any of this...I'm sure she's used to it. She knows her husband.

The media likes to make a big thing of it and then they go and feed into it...if I was her I'd be holding hands with him just to shut everybody up.

I can honestly say if I disliked a Minister here, I would still vote for them if they were doing a worthwhile job
He is doing well and certainly would take no nonsense from the EU either

Supposdely she asked to ride with the people she had invited.

 

I thought he did well. Not everything he said was whole truth...but several of his statements were.

 

That's what I hate about the media...they blow that up to mean that she's upset with him over that porn Star thing.

The media needs to stop these kind of stories...they have lost all credibility with me.

 

What is astounding is the total lack of attention and respect from the democrats. No matter what happened or who was introduced, they stayed seated and not one of them applauded even when it would have been favorable to do so.
Even the black caucus stayed seated and did not applaud when it was announced that black unemployment was lower than it has been in a great amount of time.
After the speech, the dems headed for the door en masse and couldn't get out fast enough.

Hatred for someone, while understood but inexcusable, should not be so overwhelming that one displays such an abject amount of ignorance and lack of grace.
These are the officials that people vote for and should act not only as adults but adults who's public demeanor can be held in esteem rather than looking like small children who are being forced to eat their vegies.

 

I applaud the truth in what you say
