I think I know the answer to this, but ... Is it possible to upload and display photos directly from my computer, or do I have to use a third-party storage system? I've been spoiled by other forums where I could do that.
Yes, you can. When I post, I host my images on another domain that I own because I don't have to worry about file sizes that way, but you can use the "Upload a File" option, then choose between displaying the full image or a thumbnail. The thumbnail option would be like the hammer image that I have uploaded below.
Like this (full-size)? I'll be darned - I think of myself as so forum-savvy and I didn't even see the "Upload File" option - mucho thankos!
LOL....decent and Phil...you knowwww they don't pair up dotncha?...I mean, everyone knows it's Blue diapers for boys!! ...good to see you here my friend..
Just as @Sifu Phil Bonifonte did, I fidgeted around and finally figured out how to post pictures. I use a 3 month old iPad Air, and I'd like to learn how to make my pictures smaller, as Phil just did. I feel badly about the large size of my picture postings. Anyone know how to do thay?
@Ina I. Wonder I don't have an iPad either, but look into the app where your pictures are stored there maybe something there to work with.
I just discovered that you can drag an image from your desktop to your post and it will upload automatically…without using the "Upload a File" button.
I have always used drag and drop being lazy, but it doesn't always work on my tablet, and as Ken said it can also be slow sometimes.
