Ok... I have many... and I'm sure a lot of people will already know them, but just in case, here's some that really work.. When trying to untie a knot from a fine chain necklace give it a little squirt of WD40...it will come loose easily.. If you have hair full of static..pat your hair down with a dryer sheet to calm it down... Do the same thing with any clothing that you may wear that's statically charged, particularly ladies if your petticoat clings to your skirt.. if you need to fill a tiny pin hole in the wall..perhaps where a nail has been...use toothpaste rather than getting filler out!! It will set hard and can be painted over as normal
Another one which is one of my favourites after years of frustration with necklace chains, is that to prevent the chain from knotting up in the drawer or jewellery box...is to thread the chain through a straw and fasten it.. Another is , if you're limited for counter space in your kitchen, pull out your cutlery drawer and place a chopping board over it to give you extra work space to chop veggies etc..
Okay, I do have to admit that my teeth are a bit sensitive. They only smile when I put them in my mouth otherwise they just sit there in the box of water and frown. Seriously, if perchance there isn't a can of Go-Jo or some other degreaser sitting around after doing a job on the lawn mower or car engine, a dollop of mayonnaise rubbed on the hands and fingernails will clean up the mess. I do not know how someone figured that out but it really works and leaves your hands very, very soft and smooth. A lot of the old carnies who work on the rides store packets of mayo in their pockets because it's compact and Go-Jo is bulky and expensive.
Use wasp spray to repel an intruder or attacker. It will spray 20 feet, more than pepper spray and it is more accurate. It will blind an attacker until they can get to a hospital for an antidote. I keep some on hand all the time.
If I have a gun sitting on the kitchen table, an intruder might be just a little cautious. But he would never suspect that I can disable him with an innocent looking spray can.
The real bear spray cans will spray further than 20 feet, but are MUCH more expensive than a can of wasp spray. Both are big and awkward to carry around, though. That's why they make the little purse-sized cans. My wife carries a "Damsel in Distress", a rechargeable tactical flashlight with a "zapper" attached. I think we have wandered away from sensitive teeth, however....
