She is very proud of this photo. She is a big advocate of "concealed weapon" on campus by students. She was allowed to have the photo taken, because she graduated and is not longer a student on the campus. What do you think?
Nope. She got permission from the University to take the photo. Nobody harassed her or anything. This photo went viral...…...and many are happy she done it. She also owns a handgun. Story of this is online.
I don't like the idea of students having guns on campus. Weekends are crazy and someone could easily get shot.
But not where your grandson goes. You said they drink, but don’t party there. Now, how in the heck do college kids drink and not party??? Interesting!!
Because some schools are known as Party schools...what that means is they REALLY REALLY party hard. All schools party some and do drink for the most part. You don't have to go to a party to drink, they do it in their rooms or appts also.
That's a ridiculous statement on your part...like you can only drink at a party??? There's a difference between party and party hard. Some universities are well known as party schools...Cal Poly is not one of them....they still have parties and drink though.
Then, @Chrissy Cross, nobody in America should have a Concealed Weapons Permit and carry. Why? There are those that "carry" and go to bars and nightclubs. They drink some-to-too much, someone pi**es them off and they go for that "concealed weapon" and shoots the that person. So much for using a "concealed weapon" for protection. As far as our high schools and colleges/universities go, something has to be done about "active shooter/shooters" on the campus. It's really surprising just how many high school students here are caught with a gun in their book bag or in their waistband. Many say they carry for protection from other students that bully them or a student who talks to their girlfriend or boyfriend. Seems like there are a certain amount of high school students here that have no problem shooting and killing another student for whatever reason.
But, at a party is where people really get going for fun, like most college/university students like to do. College and university students don't just sit around, eat hors d'oeuvres and discuss things. A lot of parents and grandparents wished this is the way it is, but.
I just think more students would be shot accidentally by other students than someone outside of campus. These kids fall of balconies drunk...go to ER with alcohol,poisoning etc. I see the campus police log over the Weeknd..they're busy. As for other drunks carrying guns...I'm not too crazy about that either.
Where did I say they eat hors d'oeuvres??? They drink! I just said some schools are worse than others.
Alcohol and some meds don't mix....alcoholic and guns don't mix either. Ive seen it. My ex got drunk one night and got his gun and was going to shoot the neighbor's dog at night through the fence..Ive never been so scared in my whole life. It took everything I had to calm him down and get him in the house.
Teens between the ages of 16-19 are more apt to be in a fatal car wreck than any other age. Statistically, more 18 and 19 year old teens enter into their first year of college than any other age group. That means that those teens who are more apt to kill themselves or someone else in a car crash should not be allowed to bring their cars on campus.
