I have been unable to get access to the forum all day long. Saw screen: This account has been suspended. I was just wondering if I was the only one who couldn't log in or if the server was down or if it was due to maintenance work? If I was not the only one, I find the message "This account..." quite scary as if I had done something wrong. I wrote a message to a "Kfander" whoever that is.
Gremlins. Yup, everyone experienced the same as you @Thomas Stearn. I just took it as a Ddos attack or Ken forgot to re-up or something or other. Probably the "something or other".
Thanks, Bobby. That's a relief. I've just seen Ken's message in "Downtime" which makes this thread somewhat superflous now. Since I felt pretty helpless in that situation realising I had no contact details at all, I will get back to Ken on this issue when time permits.
You are welcome. Any explanation for me? As I wrote above I didn't have any email address to write to. Then I vaguely recalled that I had received a confirmation email from this sender when signing up and was glad to have one contact address at all. Who would you have turned to?

Kfander is Ken Anderson, the forum admin, owner and a member. I sent Ken a message on Facebook and then I texted Yvonne.
OK, and thanks. I had a hunch but wasn't sure. No harm done, Ken. Anyway, he didn't answer to relieve my pain. That means you were not scared? I was because I assumed I'd been the only one blocked because I had done something wrong. It bothered me all day. Another message sceen might have been helpful.
I was at first but since Ive been banned before I know that it's a different message. I did run through all the posts in my head I made before I logged off though...if I said anything ban worthy.
You did the right thing, @Thomas Stearn , and emailed Ken (even though you didn’t know that kfander was KFAnderson/aka Ken) , and lots of people were concerned. Since something similar happened to the forum before, some of the “oldtimers” here remembered that happening, and figured it was a similar situation. It is not Ken who puts that scary message up there, it is from the server (or something like that ?), and since no one can even see the forum to send a PM, it just kind of leaves everyone wondering what is going on when something like this happens. Also...... to address the issue of being banned, Ken is the most caring and considerate forum owner that any forum could have, and he is not going to just ban someone out of the blue. If you had done something wrong, he would have first messaged you to discuss things, and banning is a last-ditch option with this forum, and by the time it happens, Ken has tried everything else to work things out first.
