About this time every year I enjoy listening and watching the video by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Wizards in Winter This video doesn't have the best audio, but you can view the musicians playing their song: Here is a better quality audio with a Christmas light display:
Toby, a few years ago they came to the Fresno Savemart Center and I and my BF at the time went to see them, they were Fantastic!
A couple of tracks from Sarah McLachlan's lovely Christmas album "Wintersong", which I haven't played for quite a few years.
How lucky you were to see them. They have quite an interesting history you can read about at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trans-Siberian_Orchestra When I hear Wizards in Winter, my speakers are turned up to a deafening sound! There are so many good Christmas and holiday season bands and musicians, but they are my favorite.
@Toby Lee Spiegel , I first heard of them only after I first heard Celtic Woman and after loving and listening to all of their songs I came across the Trans Siberian Orchestra....then I think the following year or two I saw that they were performing live in Fresno!
I never thought of this song as one of my favorites until I paid attention to the words. "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" The words say it all…the whole meaning of Christmas. This is what it's all about…
