It was he / she who pillfered the striped bag from Martini after she loaded it with her ill gotten gains and planted it in order to steer us away from the larger felony: To steal the last known un-licked Green Stamp from the ferry boat’s captain’s lover, his ex-mother in law, Chrissy “Love Boat” Cross! As proof of the whole affair, if we look into the purse we shall find that Martini had stolen a jar of smog from Love Boat’s collection of California artifacts and smuggled it on board, in the bag with the reverse SH clearly glued on afterward. Martini avoided being caught with the jar of smog by dropping his disguise and wooed the purser then made him think the jar actually contained “Mama Yvonne Smith’s” home made turkey gravy.
