This is around the wharf in Monterey, you can walk along the ocean for miles and miles....part of Cannery Row also. The weather was perfect yesterday, in the 70's.
Just totally awesome pictures, @Chrissy Cross ! That is so wonderful that you get to spend the week there with your daughter, and the temperatures are just perfect, as well. I loved being able to go to the ocean when I lived on the Washington Coast, and always wished that I could live near the ocean somewhere. When Robin and I went to Florida, we drove home along one of the coastal highways, and it was wonderful to be able to catch sights of the ocean for most of the way home. Both Robin and I were talking about how great it would be to live in one of the picturesque little towns we drove through on our way home. It is a good break from the summer heat for you !
Thanks and yes it's very pretty along the ocean and the weather is perfect....even if it wasn't it wouldn't be in the 100's like Fresno. Most houses here don't have A/C. My daughter had it put in after the they bought the house. 2 units...one for each floor. It's the second floor that can get too hot when they have a rare 80's day.
I see but... couldn't you just.... somehow let him show up by accident? I'm not sure if I have ever seen or seen enough of him.
Thanks a lot @Chrissy Cross . Much appreciated. I don't think I've ever seen him. No need to hide him, is there? Good boy, I'm sure. Would like to see more of him whenever possible.
