This Man Is Remarkable!

Saw a documentary last night about the incredible Willard Wigan
I was mesmerised as I watched him sculpt 'miniature' objects
He is famous for these sculptures inside the eye of a needle - here's some ………..

Wow oh wow.. that is amazing!

 

It is ! And he is so amazing too
How he has the patience is astounding as the work is so intricate
Last night he took a carpet fiber and carved a 'baby' image from it, then - put the baby into a stubble of hair from his head !!!

 

Have any of you heard of him - he has been on US TV

 

Ive not see him on TV and but Ive seen this type of miniature carving but don't know who did it.

 

Seems he's the only one - truly remarkable to see

 

No I never seen or heard of him. I can barley find a needle on a clear day sober...I can not imagine how a person does such a thing. .I will look him up.

Similar yes - quality of imagination makes this man exceptional
He took a carpet fiber and carved an embryo from it, then, from a piece of shaved stubble he hollowed that to insert
the baby inside - he is truly remarkable

 

Thinking more on your question, its a mixed answer
Yes, happy to be appreciated but the work is 'so' intense and time consuming, it must impact on his quality of life
