In very simple terms, the URL is the address of the web page or site.

There’s also another method of copy/paste on youtube.
Whilst your youtube preference is playing, left click on the picture and 3 or 4 icons should temporarily appear toward the top right hand side. . Left click on the arrow which is swooping up and to the right.
A window will open up and again several icons will appear and then you click on copy.

Come back to where you wish to post it and left click to establish where you want it, then right click and the window will open up with the word paste on it. Left click on paste and you’re home free.

Either way, If you can do it once then you can do it a gazillion times.

Next lesson: How to highlight, copy and paste individual words, sentences and paragraphs.
Note: For us old dogs (though I’m a little younger than you) It’s never too late to learn a new trick.
    :)

uh oh, another way. When you bring up the program you wish to see and share, the word “share” might be under the right hand bottom of whatever is playing. Click on it and hit “copy link” then go to wherever you wish to post it and follow @Holly Saunders or my previous instructions on how to post it.

Hal..Open www.youtube.com . Now search for the music you want to copy to here.

When you find the music, click to play it. Above the video on the bar you will see the URL ( address) which will start with www. You Tube

This one circled in red ... youtube1.jpg

Left click on it with your mouse... and then right click ''copy'' on the drop down menu...

Then come to the forum , and right click your mouse and click ''paste''... . It will paste the Video onto the forum...and then you must not forget to click Post ... at the bottom of the box as normal

I saw the word "share", but it wasn't anywhere while the video was playing, but only after I clicked on the "curved icon" which was on the UPPER RIGHT on the video when it was in FULL SCREEN. Then "share" was on another screen which didn't have the video!

    So now what, please?
